March 2010
Presidents Report

I would like to thank those members who are attending our monthly club meetings it is nice to see the numbers starting to increase; hopefully we can have more members coming each month.

We have a busy schedule for the club this year with our runs so please make sure you take time to read our events page and I encourage each and every one of you to support the club and go on these runs as we always have a good time and there is always an interesting story to be told.

The club was asked to attend the Blacktown Show and it was disappointing on the number of members that supported the day but I can say all five of us had a good time, though we were outnumbered by the Mustang Club and the Ferrel Ute club.

Don't forget the cool customs boys are having a run on Sunday the 7th March, leaving from the West Hoxton Shops around 9.30am then cruising to the Horse and Jockey inn at Menangle, via Camden and Picton, so if you live along the route, please feel free to join in. It is a great day, with fabulous food and entertainment.

Your President,

John Fenato.

March 2010
Editor's Notes

Well, March looks like a pretty busy month for the few adventurous ones out there who like to get their car out for a run, or who enjoy taking them to shows. Starting with the Camaro Firebird club Mystery Cruise on the 6th of March.

These are a great night out with the family and a great chance to blow the cobwebs out of those Chevys that spend most of their time collecting dust in the shed.

The second main event for March is the cool customs run to Menangle. This is one of those runs you don't want to miss as it is a great day out for the whole family, with fantastic food and entertainment, and lots of nice cars.

The third event on the March calendar is our club cruise to Cakebiz. Details of this run are on page 14 of the magazine.

I would like to thank Charlie for his comments at the last meeting about the quality of the magazine. It is not easy trying to find stories and information that will keep everyone interested. The one main thing that is missing from this magazine though, is information about members and their cars. It would be great if you as members took a little time out of your day at some point and put pen to paper, or hit the computer keyboard and wrote a story about your car, how you came to own it and what you have done to it while you have had it, along with some nice pics.

Even stories of your weekend runs with the family or friends. I'm sure most members would love to read about what other people in the club are up to or what they have done with their cars. You don't need a master's degree in English, just jot something down and send it to me and I will do the rest.

Wouldn't you like to see your car in the centre spread ???

Your editor,

Steve Barks.
